From Janja to the top
He started with nothing
Erko Jun, born Ermin Junuzović, grew up as a war refugee. In 1992 his family fled Bosnia to a refugee camp in Germany, eventually settling in Antwerp, Belgium. As a teenager he got into trouble on the streets, until trainer Bill Richardson pushed him to channel that energy into sport.
After a devastating leg injury at 16, Erko discovered his passion for bodybuilding. Under coach Bill's guidance he won three consecutive junior championships in the Benelux and appeared on six international fitness magazine covers in 2014. But the fighter in him kept calling.
